North American Bancard is pleased to announce the nomination of Julia Kellogg, NAB’s vice president of human resources, for the Michigan Council of SHRM’s “Michigan’s Top HR Professional” Award, which recognizes outstanding achievement in the field of human resource management and community leadership.

“It’s such an honor being recognized for this amazing award. As a new member of the North American Bancard team, I look forward to supporting its growth for years to come,” says Kellogg.

The president of Detroit Society for Human Resources Management, Kellogg brings nearly two decades worth of human resource experience to North American Bancard. Her past experience includes a wide range of industries including health care, automotive, manufacturing, publishing and marketing/advertising.

Kellogg is a certified Professional in Human Resources and received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan, Flint. She also remains active in her community, supporting important causes from breast cancer to international women’s rights. Additionally, she held several board positions for Zonta International, a non-profit organization committed to advancing the status of women worldwide.

Individuals nominated for the inaugural “MISHRM Top HR Professional” Award exemplified the highest standards in the HR profession and were honored this year at the MISHRM’s annual conference, which took place October 8-10 at COBO Center in Detroit.
