Christopher Mascaro, Ph.D.
Chief Risk Officer
Christopher Mascaro is the Chief Risk Officer for North American Bancard Holdings, LLC (NAB). He leads the company’s current work and cutting edge strategy in underwriting, risk, fraud investigations, periodic review/commercial credit, and fraud/risk data science.
Mascaro brings decades of technology, data, and payments experience, as well as expertise from work in government, academia, private consulting, and Fortune 100 organizations. He was most recently the leader of Fiserv’s fraud and financial crimes data science practice and was the architect and general manager of its Global Research and Development organization located in Ireland.
Mascaro holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Michigan in political science with a focus on quantitative modeling and complex systems, a Master of Arts degree from Johns Hopkins University in government, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in information science from Drexel University.
